Tina: Wow. It's really getting windy outside. I heard this is going to be a big
typhoon.
Marcus: The news said it's going to be a super-typhoon. I'm glad to be back home
and not outside in all that wind and rain.
Tina: It's a good thing we bought supplies to be prepared for a power-outage.
Where are the lighters you got?
Marcus: You were supposed to get the lighters. I got candles.
Tina: No. I was supposed to get candles, and you were supposed to get the
lighters.
Marcus: What are we going to do if the lights go out?
Translation:
蒂娜︰哇，外面的風變得好大喔。我聽說有個大颱風要來了。
馬可斯︰新聞說這次是強烈颱風。真高興我已經到家，不用在外面吹風淋雨。
蒂娜︰還好我們已經買好儲糧，為停電做好準備。你買的打火機在哪裡？
馬可斯︰打火機是妳要買的。我是買蠟燭。
蒂娜︰才不是。我負責買蠟燭，你才是負責買打火機。
馬可斯︰停電的話，沒有燈光我們要怎麼辦啊？
